Roatán is home to a wide range of hostels, hotels and resorts, and it is a good idea to shop around to look for the best match for your preferences and budget. Vacation apparments are also available, as well as cabanas. Many dive shops offer packages with a scuba diving course, a few dive trips and accommodation bundled.

In East End, accessible only by water transportation. Over-the-water cabanas, with private dock, swim ladder and hammock. Great base for diving, fly-fishing, hiking Morat, exploring the caves of Helene, etcetera.

Backpacker hostel: Roatan Backpacker´s Hostel, in Sandy Bay

Fun eco-hostel hostel a 5-minute walk form the beach. Stay in a dorm with shared kitchen and bathroom, or book a private room. Solar energy and solar hot water.

Affordable B&B one block from West Bay Beach.

Classic beach resort: Camp Bay Beach Resort, in Camp Bay

Full-service resort. Beach front restaurant with U.S. and Honduran menu. Scuba diving school.

Boutique hotel: The Beach House, in West End

Small boutique hotel with four suits on the beach. Located in Half Moon Bay, at the entrance of West End. Each suit has kitchen and beach front balcony.

Luxury condos: Villas del Playa, in West End

Luxury 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom condos on the beach. Penthouse with 1,900 sq ft rooftop also available.

Villas: Coral Vista Villas, in West End

Five villas on a peninsula, for a more secluded feel. Right on the water. Each villa has four bedrooms, private pool and and multiple balconies.
