Vista Villa review

Another Trip Advisor review was written in August 2010, scroll through the posts to number 9.  There are restaurants nearby.   Bay Island Beach Resort closed but the Hungry Kiwi Restaurant is located in Lawson's Rock.  The Blue Parrot Cafe is a little further down the beach.  The Sunshine Cafe is a very short taxi or mini bus ride (this is just a little too far for walking).  In the other direction, is the Bella Napoli Brick Oven for excellent pizza and the Fresh Bakery for breakfast and lunch at the old Alba Plaza.  You can see some pictures and restaurant info on this link for Sandy Bay.  There are plenty of additional restaurants nearby via the mini bus (about 18 lempira ride) or taxi ($2 per person or 30 lempiras if you negotiate).  The rates for the taxi above are for a trip to West End per person or to Plaza Del Mar or Eldon's grocery store just outside of Coxen Hole.

                                                                                           The Villa

The Vista Villas consist of 2 buildings with 4 separate units, only one (Villa 2 lower unit) is available for rental.  The unit is owned by the Sunnyside Development Corp SA, the builder of the Vista Villas.  This unit is for sale including furnishing at $249,900 (US dollars).   Additionally, the entire building with upper and lower units can be purchased at $550,000.  This rental unit is in excellent condition and would make a great second or primary home.  For additional details on the sale, please send an email request to the management. The rental Villa is impeccably maintained and set up for couples or a family vacation rental.  The lush garden setting surrounding the spa dipping pool and Weber gas grill barbeque area provides a great place to relax.  Enjoy outstanding snorkeling and scuba at the end of the private pier at Spooky Channel in the Marine Reserve.  Walk on a sandy beach for miles or just relax on the deck or at the pool and do nothing.  The Villas are located in Sandy Bay and are convenient to all tourist activities.  You are only 15 minutes from the airport, Coxen Hole,  grocery stores and 10 minutes to West End.  The Vista Villa is set back about 99 steps from the beach on a gentle sloping hill. There are no buildings in front of the Villas to limit your fabulous views of the reef, beach, private dock and Spooky Channel.  Tropical trade breezes cool each unit.  The Villa is equipped with air conditioning units in the bedrooms and overhead fans inside and on the decks. There is a fully equipped kitchen.  The covered deck has a hammock, chairs and a table for outdoor dining or relaxing  The rental includes cable TV.  An internet access port is available (please bring an RJ45 ethernet cable).  Scroll down for the current booking calendar and booking request.

Cancellations of lodging made 45 or more days prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a service fee of US$ 50.00. Cancellations made 45-15 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made 14 - 0 days prior to arrival are 100% nonrefundable.
