Resturants Off The Beaten Path

	Bojangles Chicken is located next to the new gas station on the island just outside of Coxen Hole on the main island road. See the Coxen Hole map above. "Fast food" fried chicken is the specialty. Pizza Inn shares the building with Bojangles. Pizza Inn is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers pizza and other Italian specialties. Both the chicken and pizza are very good. There is another location at the turn off to French Harbour and the main road. Expect high calorie high fat content!
	Que Tal Cafeteria has moved to Lawson's Rock off the main road towards Sandy Bay in the condo area. Good deli sandwiches, fresh fruit frescos and home baked cookies can be found here. Excellent baked chicken dishes. Open for breakfast and lunch, they close around 4:00 PM.
	Plaza Mar Restaurant is located at Plaza Mar Mall on the second floor. The plaza is above the Bojangles restaurant at the western entrance Coxen Hole. The restaurant offers the best view of Coxen Hole, especially when a cruise ship is in port, since it has a direct view to the dock. Local food at inexpensive prices.
	Sun Grocery Store (Warrens) is located in Coxen Hole and the cafeteria has fried chicken and other simple items.
	Hobbie's Hideaway is open 7 days a week and is located off the main road on the beach near Sandy Bay.
	Roticeria Aleman specializes in chicken. Located near French Harbour along the main road.
	Lusty Lizard is Jenny's place and is located on the main road to French Harbour not far from Coxen Hole. Lobster and fish gumbo are some of the specialties.
	The View is located along the main road past French Harbour near the Parrot Tree entry.
	Gio's restaurant in French Harbour. If you want fish, this is the place.
	The Lobster Pot Restaurant is located between West End and West Bay on the beach. This is the place for lobster omelets and fresh baked breads. This is the hang out for breakfast with the "yachties". The lobster omelet is very big and very good! The down side of this good food is service can be slow. Be patient, you will be happy after you get your meal. Breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, Lunch 12 PM to 2 PM, and Dinner from 6 PM to 9:30 PM. Phone 403-8828 or 9916-7165.
	Creole's Rotisserie Chicken in West End may be one of the best buys on the island.
	The Noodle Shack is another best buy and is located next to Crystal Beach Cabins in West End.
	Cream of the Trop is the place for ice cream cones on the island. Skip the cup and get a cone which is not only tasty but keeps our land fill free of one more plastic cup.

	Barefeet Restaurant and Bar is located at the end of the West End sand road along the beach at the old Native Sons Dive shop location.
	Anthony's Chicken is located to the right on the sand road as you enter West End from the main road. Chicken sure is popular on Roatan.
	Sundowners is the local sunset, burgers and beer location in West End. They are located on the right of the sand road as you enter West End from the main road and near Woodies Grocery Store.
	Located in Plaza Jackson in French Harbour. Light sandwiches.
	The Blue Parrot has new owners. It serves Jamaican, Chinese, and island style food. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner six days a week and closed on Mondays. They are located on the main road just after a big curve in Sandy Bay.
	The Island Saloon Bar and Grill seems to be popular with the cruise ship guides. This is not very far from Coxen Hole on the way to French Harbour and near the old Coleman bakery. The conch chowder on Wednesday is outstanding.
