Roatan Vista  Villas offers rental lodging at the Vista Villa condo unit, private homes (some with pools), and a studio efficiency apartment which are conveniently located in Sandy Bay, Roatan Island, The Bay Islands, Honduras.  Directions to Sunnyside Vista are below the maps below.  Use the  "Tourist Guide Locator" drop down menu above to find restaurants, resorts, and other locations of interest to the tourist traveler.

Upon arrival at the airport, guests who are staying a week or more are meet by a representative of the on site management.  The villas are approximately 15 minutes by car and located in Sandy Bay on the northwest shores of Roatan. Upon leaving the airport parking lot, you will turn left onto Roatan's primary paved road. This road will take you past the turn off to Coxen Hole and then it take a series of gentle winding turns up and over the hills to the northern shore. You will have past by the Blue Bahia restaurant, Lawson's Rock, and Sandy Bay car wash.  Then just past the Education Center (formerly Bay Island Beach Resort--see pictures below)

on your right and Ivis Gift Shop on your left and exactly 4 miles or 6.4 kilometers (check to see what your rental car odometer uses!) from the airport, you will see a  entrance sign area with "Sunnyside" clearly indicated. You will turn right into the main entrance of Sunnyside and proceed approximately 150 yards and then turn left after the white fence on the left.  Proceed another 20 yards and the Sunnyside Vista Villas entrance will be on your left. Taxis will bring you to the Villa entrance and mini buses will stop at the main entrance of Sunnyside. When traveling by bus, be sure to tell the driver to stop at Sunnyside.  If you see to small Coral Sand strip mall  or the Green Lounge Bar or Island Gym on your left, you have missed the turn into Sunnyside.
