Please note that all phone numbers are for calling within Honduras. The country code for Honduras is 504 if calling from outside of Honduras. If there is ten digit number in the telephone field, that indicates it is a US phone number with a US area code. Please report any incorrect email addresses to webmaster. If you are in the tourist trade and want a listing, just send the webmaster an email with the details.
For those visitors that must have phone service, you can purchase a cell phone or a SIM card with limited time for local calling. You can purchase different plans and some US GSM phones will work with the installation of a local SIM card. The SIM cards are 50 to 150 lempiras ($3 to 5 dollars) and includes 50 to 100 minutes. Just take your cell phone in with you and make sure it works with the SIM. There are inexpensive cell phones with "time pre-paid" without the bells and whistles such as cameras that can get you connected for less than $30.
